CHAMOMILE LOTION – DO IT EASY ZERO WASTE
Chamomile lotion or small multifunctional helper? I’ve been dreaming for a long time that I will grow herbs someday. And try to make some healing ointments. Due to frequent moving, my cultivation is still mostly imagination. Gradually, however, I move where my heart is pulling me.
A few days ago in the whole food shop, I beheld dried chamomiles. I got beeswax on the farmers market. Honest, right from the beekeeper. And how it smells! Olive oil prepared. Experiments could begin.
WHAT A CHAMOMILE LOTION CAN HEAL?
According to herbalists, healing chamomile should not be missing in any household. This beautiful flower ha anti-inflammatory effects, it also works against bacteria and viruses.
I personally, like using a chamomile ointment as a lip balm. Surprisingly, my boyfriend began to use it. And that’s a lot to say when a guy rubs his lips.
Chamomile lotion is also suitable for dry and cracked skin anywhere on the body. What’s more, helps to treat acne, eczema, skin rashes, sunburns, abrasions, to protect baby skin from nappy rash.
HOW TO USE IT?
Spread the chamomile lotion on affected areas several times a day. To increase its effect, apply a larger volume of the product to the affected area, bandage and let it work overnight.
HOW TO EASY MAKE A CHAMOMILE LOTION?
You only need three ingredients 😉 Ideal in organic quality:
- Two tablespoons of dried sprinkled chamomile
- 100 ml olive oil
- 20 g beeswax – Why is it essential to use natural beeswax? It has excellent moisturising and protective properties. This improves the quality of the ointment.
Firstly, boil chamomiles in olive oil, in a water bath. About half an hour. On a gentle fire. Allow standing overnight after weaning. The second-day strain chamomiles to get clean olive oil without pieces of flowers. Thicken the result with beeswax, also, in the water bath. Stir until the beeswax melts. Finally, pour into a container. After cooling, store in a refrigerator. All done.
IT’S GOOD TO HAVE CHAMOMILE IN YOUR KITCHEN
Whatever you experienced during the day, chamomile tea is a nerve balm. Curl up on your favourite sofa with a cup in your hand. Close your eyes and inhale its aroma. You will feel the delicate sweet taste of chamomile with your all senses. If you feel like it, I recommend relaxing music also. This is a delightful ritual 😉 Relax, calm.
